Ayurveda Best Doctor Award 2008

Thiruvananthapuram, June 13, 2009: The awards for best Ayurveda doctors will be given away at a function here on June 17. The awards are instituted by Indian Systems of Medicine (ISM).

The function is scheduled at Hotel Muscat at 3 PM. Dr Sasi Tharoor, Minister of State External Affairs presents the award. Mr. V. Sivankutty, MLA, Thiruvananthapuram, presides over the function. Ms PK Srimathi Teacher, Minister for H & FW inaugurates the function.

The winners of different awards are:

Athreya Award: Dr S K Ramachandran, Professor, Dept of Kaumarabhrityam, Govt. Ayurveda College, TVM

Dhanwanthari Award: Dr P K Mohanlal, Rtd. DAME, KP 4/824, Deepa Sadan, Nalanchira, TVM
